In 2008 the structure of the ICT department of B-Holding (Belgian national rail roads) was reorganized. The recent building Midi-Atrium was full and didn’t meet the flexibility needs. The Philips building in Brussels however could be adapted to what B-Holding expected of a new office environment for their ICT department.
PROCOS was asked to develop the space planning and to develop the interior design. The integration of a control room and call center, based on a new concept was the main challenge.
The project was delivered within the agreed timing and according to budget. This project is a perfect example of creating standardization and flexibility in an existing building structure – based on the building grid.
