Embuild, the Belgian Construction Association, developed its headquarters in Brussels with a clear ambition: create a workplace that reflects both sector leadership and responsibility towards employee wellbeing.
The HUBB was designed not only as an inspiring office, but as an environment where health, comfort, and performance are structurally embedded.
Achieving WELL Gold requires more than design quality. It demands alignment between materials, technical systems, operational processes, and measurable performance over time.
Without this integration, there is a clear risk: a building that performs well on paper, but not in daily use.

PROCOS Group supported Embuild throughout the full WELL Building certification process, ensuring consistency between:
Spatial design and material choices
Operational and facility management processes
Employee wellbeing, both physical and mental
This integrated approach ensured that all goals were achieved and translated into operational reality.
To validate performance, Airscan acted as a Performance Testing Agent. Scientific measurements were conducted across:
Air quality
Water quality
Acoustics
Environmental parameters
All results were tested against WELL thresholds, ensuring not only compliance at delivery, but sustained performance over time.
The HUBB achieved WELL Gold certification.
More importantly, the building operates as intended: a workplace where environmental quality, processes and user experience are aligned and continuously monitored.
This project confirms that wellbeing is not an add-on. It is the outcome of structured decisions across space, systems, and behaviour.
For organisations, this translates into:
Reliable building performance
Reduced operational risk
Improved employee experience and productivity
At PROCOS Group, WELL is approached as a governance framework to align design, operations and people.
This result was achieved through close collaboration between all involved parties.
