Integral Asset Management (ISO-55000) for efficient business management
NLR is the Netherlands Aerospace Centre for identifying, developing and applying advanced technological knowledge in the area of aerospace. Their activities are relevant to society and market-oriented. NLR thus strengthen the innovativeness, competitiveness and effectiveness of government and business. NLR’s mission is to increase the sustainability, safety and efficiency of transport.
The multidisciplinary approach of NLR focuses on the development of new and cost-effective technologies for aerospace, from design support to production technology and MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul). With its unique expertise and advanced facilities NLR bridges the gap between research and practice.
The activities of the NLR cover the entire spectrum of RDT & E (Research, Development, Test & Evaluation), including all important stages in the research process - from validation, verification and qualification to evaluation. In this way the NLR contributes to the innovative capacity and the competitive position of government, public and private organizations in the Netherlands and abroad.
Objective of NLR was to be able to carry out all its business processes related to Asset Management in the best way possible according to the ISO55000. This is why NLR has chosen ARCHIBUS as its Integral Information Management platform.
