SPIE: Société Parisienne pour l’Industrie Electrique (SPIE). The SPIE company was founded in 1900 and was specialized in electrical installations and metro-stations. In 2004 SPIE Netherlands started and is still growing steadily i.e. by acquirement of SAG Controlec and some parts of Heijmans. SPIE is operating within 4 market segments: Smart-city, e-fficient Buildings, Energies and Industry Services.
Nowadays SPIE is one of the largest multi-technical Service Providers. SPIE wants continuously to develop itself as a knowledge-based organization with a strong, close connection to their customers.
In order to support all these strategic goals, SPIE needed a new Maintenance Management System. The new system should be able to support SPIE in the next step in Maintenance and Predictive Analytics.
SPIE chose to adopt ARCHIBUS as their integrated Information Management system. The first customer on the ARCHIBUS platform is ING DataCenters.
